Millions will be tuning in tomorrow to watch Tom Brady try to win his 6th Super Bowl. But by far the most anticipated event this year will be Shaggy’s halftime performance.
There was a lot of controversy buzzing when Maroon 5 took the job to perform at halftime this year. Artists such as Rihanna turned down the offer to perform because of the NFL’s treatment of Colin Kaepernick after taking a knee during the National Anthem.
After all the controversy, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell finally pulled the plug on Maroon 5 and replaced them with… you guessed it: Shaggy.
One thing is for sure: the NFL finally got it right. Can you imagine what Shaggy could do in just 15 minutes with this big of a stage? He may just change the world as we know it.
Early rumors are swirling that Shaggy may bring the other, less famous Shaggy on stage with him to perform “Sweet Victory”, made famous by Spongebob.
Name a better duo, I’ll wait. Can it just be halftime already?!
