As we all know, February is the only month that has 28 days in it. In 2019, that will no longer be the case.
According to US Calendar Council, 2 days will be added to the month of February so it “feels more included”. See the full statement below:
“If we don’t give every month the same recognition, we’re afraid people might get offended. Last week, a man tweeted that white rice was offensive and successfully started a regional boycott in his city. Imagine if someone started a boycott of calendars if they think it’s unfair that February only has 28 days. The world would be in shambles.”
Making people feel more included has been a big topic in the last several years. We definitely live in the “everyone gets a trophy” era. But I must ask… is this taking it too far? Thoughts?
