Many of us know Ronda from the UFC. She signed in 2012 where she enjoyed a two and a half year undefeated streak, during which she became the first female champion in the promotion’s history, and holds the record as the longest ever reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and the first woman inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

After her last loss she joined the WWE in 2018 and has also starred in some action movies like The Expendables 3 (2014) and Furious 7 (2015).

“I’ve been a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan, and Sonya Blade was the first kick-ass, female video game character that I related to,” said Ronda Rousey. “Now I get to voice her in Mortal Kombat 11. It’s a dream come true to be a part of the Mortal Kombat franchise that I grew up playing.”

Congratulations Ronda!

  1. I watched Mortal Kombat 11’s official Sonya Blade Reveal Trailer. I know somebody will disagree but the Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey might just pull it off as Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11. I’m not comfortable with Sonya’s new look though. As many have said, the game might be great but at least they should have fixed Sonya’s face a bit. She just reminds me of a chubby dinner plate.
